1. Who we are

"We", "us" and "our" mean Philansys Labs. "You" means the person using PrepZap.
2. Accepting these Terms
By creating an account or using PrepZap, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
3. Who can use PrepZap
You must be 18 or older. PrepZap is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly allow under-18s to hold accounts. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete the data.
4. What PrepZap is — and what it is not
PrepZap helps you prepare for job applications and interviews. It scans your resume, suggests corrections, and runs practice interviews with an AI interviewer.
PrepZap is a preparation tool for candidates. Employers do not use it. It does not make, influence or inform hiring decisions, and it does not screen, rank or filter candidates for anyone.
Nothing PrepZap produces is career, legal, immigration or financial advice.
We do not promise outcomes. Not an interview, not an offer, not a job, and not any particular result with an employer's applicant tracking system.
5. AI features, and their limits
Much of PrepZap is powered by AI. Three things follow from that:

The mock interviewer is an AI system, not a person. Its voice is generated by machine.
•
AI output can be wrong. Scan reports, resume corrections and interview feedback are generated automatically. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
•
Scores are for your practice only. They carry no legal or similarly significant effect, they are never shared with employers, and no decision about you is made on the basis of them.
6. What you upload
You keep every right you already hold in what you upload — your resume, job descriptions, and anything you type or say.
You give us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not publish it, sell it, share it for anyone else's purposes, or use it to train AI models. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what happens to it.
Two things are your responsibility:

Other people's information. If what you upload contains someone else's personal data — a referee, a former manager, a recruiter named in a job description — you confirm you are entitled to share it with us.

Sensitive details. Please leave out photographs, date of birth, marital status, religion, caste and health information. We do not need any of it, and applicant tracking systems tend to penalise resumes that include it. If you upload it anyway, you are asking us to process it.
7. What you get back
Scan reports, resume corrections and interview feedback are yours. Use them however you like, including commercially.
8. What we own
PrepZap itself — the interviewer personas, scoring logic, software and design — belongs to us. While your account is open you have a personal, non-transferable licence to use it.
9. How you may not use PrepZap
Do not:
•
scrape, bulk-extract or systematically copy content
•
access the service by bot, script or any other automated means
•
resell, sublicense or share your account
•
hold more than one account, or open accounts to repeat the free grant
•
reverse engineer the service
•
upload unlawful content, malware, or anything you have no right to upload
•
interfere with the service or with other users
10. Plans, packs and credits
PrepZap is sold as credits, of two kinds:
•
Profile scans — one credit per scan.
•
Voice time — counted in seconds of mock interview, measured by our server, including grading.
What we sell

While we run the offer, a person signing in to PrepZap for the first time with Google or Apple receives a one-time free grant of 3 scans and 15 minutes of voice time, expiring 90 days after it is granted. The grant is given once per person, ever — deleting an account and signing up again does not give it again.
Credits expire — please read this
This is the most important thing to understand about how PrepZap is priced.
•
Every credit carries a fixed expiry date, set when it is granted. That date is never extended.
•
Subscription credits do not roll over. At each renewal your allowance is replaced, not added to. Whatever is unused is gone.
•
Pack credits last 90 days from the date of purchase.
•
When you use PrepZap, the credits closest to expiry are spent first.
•
Buying more credits never extends credits you already hold.
Prices may vary by country. The amount charged is the amount shown at checkout.
We do not offer trials, coupons, discounts or promotional pricing.
Subscriptions renew automatically
Starter and Pro renew every 30 days until you cancel. You may cancel at any time in Settings → Billing, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. The Refund Policy has the detail.
If a renewal payment fails, your monthly credits expire on their own date while the payment is retried.
11. Payments
Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for every purchase. You buy from Dodo, not from us. Dodo handles the payment, taxes, invoices and receipts, and Dodo is what appears on your card or bank statement.
We never receive or store your card details.
12. Changes to the service
We may add, change or remove features.
If we retire a feature you hold credits for, we will give at least 90 days' notice so you can use them. Credits for a retired feature that remain unspent after that period are forfeited. We may convert them instead, at our discretion, but we do not promise to.
13. Availability
PrepZap is provided as it is, with no uptime commitment. We do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
If an outage materially eats into a credit lot that is about to expire, write to us and we will extend that lot by the length of the outage.
14. Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Unspent credits are not refunded.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 9, with notice where practicable. Credits unspent at the time of a breach termination are forfeited.
If we close your account for any reason other than a breach, we will refund unspent credits pro rata.
15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, PrepZap is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
16. The limit of our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with PrepZap is limited to the greater of:
•
what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or
We are not liable for lost opportunities, lost earnings, lost offers, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here limits rights you hold under mandatory consumer law where you live. Where a term in these Terms conflicts with those rights, those rights prevail.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version number and effective date at the top of this page always identify the current version.
Material changes take effect 30 days after we post them. Continuing to use PrepZap after that date means you accept them. A price change never affects a billing period you have already paid for.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
This does not remove your right to bring a claim in your own country where mandatory consumer law gives you one.
